(Dolce Vita Bermuda Faux Snake Gladiator Sandal; $135)

Warmer weather is quickly approaching! So get ready by picking up a pair, or two, of sandals that are perfectly stylish and cool. If it’s leather and strappy, then it will probably fit the bill. Keep reading for our recommendations at prices we all can afford.

The Classic Gladiator

A strappy, gladiator style sandal is probably the most popular type of flat sandal to go for. The great thing about these is that they not only look great, but they give the foot full support and a bit more comfort than some of the others. If it doesn’t break the bank for you, go for the Flat Gladiator Sandals by Dolce & Gabanna ($550) which are pretty much the epitome of the trend. But if that’s a bit too much cash, no worries, the Athenaa Sandals by Steve Madden ($69.95) have thinner leather straps, and still fit the trend. Both will look amazing peaking out from under a pair of skinny jeans.

Gladiator sandals don’t aren’t just limited to basic leather; these two pairs dress it up a little bit with a few gold buttons. The Tory Burch Alexis Patent Gladiator Sandal ($275) come in black and beige, and the Nine West Rossini’s ($79) come in gold and multi colored. Either pair is perfect when you want to dress up your outfit a little bit more. Put them on with a white shirt dress and a low slung beige belt for a cool and carefree look.

We love the uniqueness of these wrap around thong sandals with their teeny, tiny heels. On the higher end there’s the black Giuseppe Zanotti Patent Thong Sandal ($450) and alternatively, for 10% of the price there’s the similar Mia Aruba Sandal ($45.95) in metallic gold. This style of a sandal is perfect for wearing with casual skirts and denim shorts; they won’t cut your leg off around the ankle, making your legs look long and sleek.
