Who would know how to dress a young female better than another young female? These five fabulous designers have only been in the game a few years but they’re already making a splash on the style scene. You may not have heard of their three lines, but after taking a look at their clothing we’re sure you’ll want a piece or two in your own wardrobe.
Rochelle Rodriguez
Texas born designer Rochelle Rodriguez truly knows how to dress a woman from day to night, without ever having her look dressed down. Her collection is the perfect mixture of casual and coy day dresses that hang comfortably on the body and are covered in vivid patterns, as well as sexy cocktail dresses with plunging necklines, open backs and body conscious silhouettes. The two year old label can be found at hip LA boutique Kitson, Manhattanite in New York and online at Joia Style Studio.

Ghita
Alexis Phifer may be engaged to Kanye West, but her talent as a fashion designer shines through on it’s own. Her label Ghita has collections dating back to the Fall of 2006, and at the end of last year Alexis hit a milestone by presenting the collection for the first time at Fashion Week. But her newest collection certainly isn’t for the faint of heart; she mixes feminine fits with edgy, mod details and an innovative use of plastic! Catch the line at Ron Herman in LA, Henri Bendel in New York, and a variety of other stores across the country.

Beckerman is a line created by three sisters and graduates of New Yorks prestigious design school FIT, Caillianne, Samantha and Chloe. They actually started their collection as a thesis at the school, and the up and coming line has taken off from there. Their newest collection is perfectly in step with current trends and features the laid back feel of a day at Coney Island. Get it at boutiques across the country like Satine in Los Angeles.
