(C Solnicki Romper, $49; Miss Kateigh Terry Romper, $138)
For many of us, a romper is something we haven’t worn since we were in diapers. But the truth of the matter is this trend is a hot one even now, and it can actually be quite cute! At the moment there are a variety of different styles of one pieces at high and low price points. We’ll show you how to sort them out and get the most for your money!
Loungewear
So maybe you’re not quite ready to step outside wearing a one piece. And even if you are, you’ll fall in love with the comfort of a romper for lounge wear. The polka dotted Victoria’s Secret Pink Romper ($28.50) and the black and white Juicy Couture Jacquard Romper in Peck ($128) are equally cute at different prices, just choose the pattern you like the most!
Dressy
For a one piece look you can dress up with high heels and a whole lot of gold jewelry, one of these shiny and glamorous pieces will certainly work. The Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Zip Front Strapless Romper ($249) comes in a muted but still eye catching shade of gold and bares your shoulders. Alternatively, the less expensive Lana Shortall from Marciano ($149) is flashy but a bit more modest done in black silk. These are two pieces that make a very unique look for stepping out.
Tailored
These two styles can be dressed up or dressed down, but they’re especially great for regular every day wear. We love the halter style and lapels on the Vena Cava Petro Romper ($378) as well as the glitzy touches of gold hardwear on the white Heather Romper by Guess ($89). Add a cute braided belt to either one and you’re good to go!
