America Ferrera has a real woman’s curvy figure, and she certainly knows how to work it! Last week she was seen out and about promoting the finale of her show “Ugly Betty”, wearing this very demure and flattering number. Now, we’re showing you how to get this look; keep reading to find out how!
Instead of going with a dress, we’re using a skirt and top combo. Something silky with a U-neck and buttons is a perfect match for the top, like the Maritza Side Zip Top ($78). The sleeves or shorter, but it still looks the part. The top is a mix of silk and spandex, which gives it that glamorous sheen, and the gold buttons and pockets make for very cute accents.
A full skirt is needed for the bottom half of this outfit, so we’re pairing the top up with the appropriately titled Asos Full Skirt ($65.43). Once again, the fabric has a bit of sheen, similar to the fabric used t make America’s dress. And this skirt has a little extra something with the bow on the front.
The last thing this outfit will need is a classic pair of slingbacks. The ones we chose are a little less prim than the ones in the original look. The Asos Sexy Slingback Platform Peep Toe Shoe ($54.34) is pretty sleep, and completely sexy with it’s covered platform. It will give you lots of lift with it’s nearly 5″ inch heel.
