This Blake Lively inspired outfit is all about a fresh and collegiate look with a high fashion twist. The blazer is the big eye catching piece and the navy on white is key. The Alice & Olivia White Stretch Velveteen Annabelle Blazer ($199) is quite different than the blazer in the original, but with the same colors and super cute bold navy borders.
Underneath that we’ll add the super soft and super comfy Splendid Siesta Rib Button Tank in White ($48). The 100% supima cotton will feel great against your skin, and the top is just a little bit sheer, with a short row of small buttons down the front, just like the original.
The jeans need to be skin tight and dark blue, like the D&G Dolce & Gabbana Stretch Wonder Fit Jeans in Ink Wash ($265). It also helps to find a pair with the perfect inseam, so that they cut off right at the ankle. The skinny jeans that slouch at the ankle can be very cute, but this straight and clean edge really adds to the crispness of the overall look.
As always, we have to accessorize, and shoes are a necessity. What this outfit needs is a pair of peep toe black sling backs, and we think the Courtney Crawford Slingback Sandal in Black Patent ($495) will work perfectly. They’re super high, super sleek and super sexy.
Stack a couple of black beaded bracelets on one wrist, like the cute and affordable Kenneth Jay Lane Stretch Beaded Bracelet ($15.99) and the Marbled Ovals Stretch Bracelet in Black & White from Target ($14.99). The latter especially resemble the bracelets Blake wore, but hey, two is always better than one!
