Gwyneth Paltrow showed off this all black cocktail look at the Iron Man premiere a few weeks ago, and we’re still impressed at how she managed to pull of sexy mixed with masculine without a hitch. Read on and we’ll show you what pieces you’ll need to get this look for your very own!
Short and shimmery mini dress? Check. In the original look Gwyneth is wearing an intricately beaded short black dress. For our look, we’re adding in the Bianca Nero Micro-Sequin Tank Dress ($291). The silk dress is as glitzy as it gets with tiny sequins covering it all over.
Cover that up with the McQ Wool Blend Tuxedo Jacket ($437.25), which adds a bit of a menswear inspired feel to an otherwise ultra feminine dress; gotta love the juxtaposition! It’s also hard not to love the satin, curved lapelles that just add even more richness to the look.
All that’s needed to complete this look is a pair of satin pumps with a super high heel and a square toe, just like what Gwyneth wore. We found all of this and a bit more in the Paris Hilton Vogue Pumps ($99). These shoes have a 4″ heel and they’re lightly padded for your comfort. Style wise, they’re also lined around the edges with patent leather and the square button on the toe makes for a fabulous added detail.
