Simple and classic is just how we like Lauren Conrad’s style, and she’s not disappointing us here today. This queen of classic has recently launched her own expanded line at L.A. Fashion Week, and it’s good to see that she’s rocking her look off the small screen as well, in a basic jersey dress complete with the cutest of heels.

Black Jersey Dress
A one-shouldered choice is a brave option that rounds out classic black quite nicely, and for that reason alone, it’s not too unreasonable to pick up one per season. Lauren’s choice was quite voluminous, but you can tone things down easily with a little nip in at the legs.
If your style’s a little more Audrina than L.C., you could go for the dress shown at left, which incorporates a cute, tight skirt with an unexpected structured neckline and sleeve.

Adorable Heels
Bow pumps and heels can turn into a must-have– who would have expected that? I’m pleased that these heels have shape and incorporate Lauren’s chosen bow in more ways than one– versatility is certainly welcome here, and you can pick up both pairs without guilt. The ankle straps complete with bows are a slight departure from L.C.’s original choice, but they’re fantastic if you’re swimming in traditional pumps.

Tiny Gold Necklace
Golden charms to sparkle at your neck– who could resist? Lauren’s looks delicate and refined, and that’s a perfect choice to make when you’re wearing a slightly unusual dress with some smaller details at the toe.

Bronzed Legs: The Perfect Accessory
Go bare-legged with a touch of tan! Lauren Conrad is a California girl, so of course she has a slight sun-kissed glow going on on those legs. You can too– by faking it with premium products from Sephora and Lancome. If you’re headed out to a serious party later on that night, bring along a little gold dust to sprinkle on those gams as well.
