You probably know Leighton Meester as the stylish Blair from the TV show Gossip Girl. And in real life, she’s just as fashion forward as her television character. At a recent Hollywood event, she showed off her good girl side in this sunny yellow number. Now we’re showing you how to get a look that comes dangerously close!

For our outfit, we’re changing the color from bright yellow to pure white. The Pinko Mini Skirt ($132) has layers of ruffles, similar to the ruffles on the skirt that Leighton wore. Made in stretch poplin, the skirt will have plenty of bounce and flow, adding to the overall feminine feel of the outfit.

Next we’re pairing the skirt up with a semi sheer white blouse. The Sine White Stitch Bib Front Blouse ($196) will do the trick. It’s not as simple as the original look, but the placket and buttons will compliment the overall look nicely. And since the top is see through, the Intuition-Wear Spaghetti Strap Tank ($18) will work nicely underneath.

Accessorize that with a pocket book clutch. Leighton wore a very cute fold over clutch with her outfit, but we’re going with something a bit smaller for our look. Angie & Lola Faux-Croc Clutch from Target ($19.99) is cheap but chic. And the metal details only add to it’s style.

Lastly, you’ve got to have a pair of shoes! The Kate Spade Emmy Open Toe Slingbacks ($165) are brown and white like the shoes in the original look. They’ll match perfectly and the brown leather will give the whole look an added extra twist.
