Miranda Kerr is a supermodel, so she’s expected to have great style, even when she’s not modeling lingerie for Victoria’s Secret. This cat walk queen certainly knows how to layer and accessorize an outfit off the runway. Read on and we’ll show you how to get this menswear inspired look.
A key piece to this look is the jacket, and it’s not an easy one to find. To pull the look off correctly, a cropped tuxedo style blazer is a must! We came across several from different designers, but the JJ Park Cropped Tuxedo Jacket ($270.88) was the best looking at the best price. It not too fitted and the hem stops right below the natural waist, just like the one Miranda wore.
A basic beige v neck top will fit nicely underneath. How about the Lilla P Heather Beige Three Quarter Sleeve Henley ($37)? The Pima Cotton fabric will sit closely and comfortably against your skin.
The jeans need to be two things: gray and tight, plan and simple! We we’re lucky to find the Hex Skinny Leg Jean in Filter Wash by Acne Jeans ($107), which are pretty much the spitting image of the gray jeans in the inspiration piece. Made with 2% elastic, these pants are body conscious but comfortable at the same time.
The Fontanelli Black Ostrich Stamped Italian Leather Tote Bag ($295) will play the part of the tote perfectly. It’s roomy enough to throw all your stuff in but not to bulky; it will still fit snugly under your arm. The texture of the bag also makes it a little bit more fun than your average basic.
And finally, it’s time to tuck those jeans in to your boots. The Sudini Tara Slouched Ankle Boot ($189) is perfect for this look because of it’s slouchyness around the ankle, and if you look at Miranda’s shoes you’ll notice they slouch as well. The thick heal, pointed toe and fine leather also emulate the original and help elongate the leg.
