American Idol season 5 runner up Katharine McPhee wore this stunning black outfit as she boarded a plane to go on her honeymoon. Now we’re guessing her glow was the result of her recent wedding, but this look on it’s own could light up just about any girls face! Keep reading and we’ll show you how to get it.

The stand out piece from Katharine’s outfit is definitely the multi layered top; it adds a nice amount of texture to the monochromatic outfit. The Anna Sui Tiered Lace Tank ($200) comes dangerously close to the original, only the layers are done in lace. We think it will do the trick.

Cover your bottom half with a pair of black skinny jeans. If you don’t have a pair in your closet already, the Express Zelda Skinny Leg Jeans ($59.50) have tons of stretch in them for a comfy yet body conscious fit.

Cover everything up with a cropped, fitted leather jacket like the BeBe Leather Motorcycle Jacket ($198). And be sure to leave it open, because the top underneath is worth showing off.

Katharine made the surprising choice of pairing brown shoes and a brown purse with her all black outfit. The Sago Wedge Heel by Clarks ($83.95) may not have the same cut out heel, but the wedge does give a similar look. They also have metal studs that will make them pop.

The Flatiron Shoulder Satchel from Banana Republic ($198) will not only add the finishing touch to this look, it will also be a great piece to pair with just about any other outfit.
