Planning to throw an elegant dinner party this weekend, or maybe sometime in the near future? It’s your party so you can look as fab as you want to. We’ll show you the perfect look to impress your guests.

Give the outfit a sophisticated and dramatic feel with the Ruffled Top by Tara Subkoff for Bebe ($69). You can tie this wrap cotton/nylon/spandex top up to fit the contours of your body, and we think you’ll love the wide, layered collar; it’s what really adds the drama to this look as a whole.

We’re matching that up with the Nanette Lepore Studio Skirt ($240), which is yet another detailed and unique piece. The gray skirt comes in a cotton/lycra fabric that has a healthy amount of sheen to it. The fun part, however, is the gathered fabric around the waist, which resembles a stash. It has just the right amount of details to not make the whole outfit too busy.

Jewelry will make a great addition here. A slightly unexpected addition is the Aqua Quartz Earrings by Naerik ($150). These clear blue stones really do hang from your ear like little drops of water. We chose a light blue pair of earrings because they’ll add a pop of color to the outfit without taking away from the overall color palette.

Don’t forget the shoes! You might be in your own home but you still want to dress up your feet. The Tribeca Social Event ($63) heels will compliment all the colors that are a part of this look, and it has a little added flair in the form of an adorable little bow.
