At the last Spring/Summer fashion week we fell in love with this bright and springy Allessandro Dell’acqua look, and we think you will too. So much so that we’ve put together a similar look that’s perfect for cocktail hour. Read on so that you can get the look!
The most stunning part of the runway look is the super high waisted hot pink mini skirt. For this look, we’re switching the color from pink to black, with the Jenni Kayne Two Way Zip High Waisted Miniskirt ($515). This sparkly polyester/cotton skirt will make a huge statement wherever you go.
We’re going for something a bit different with the top as well. The Gold Hawk Mini Ball Top ($231) has great cap sleeves, just like in the original look, as well as tiny ball accents around the boat style neckline. Way too cute! Tuck this in to the high waisted skirt, and even blouse it out if you want.
A tie belt is a must, and the Gap Cotton Robe Toggle Belt ($65) will do the trick. Just wrap it a couple of times around your natural waist and you’re almost good to go!
The finishing touch is a pair of strappy sandals, and we’re talking about sandals with a whole lot of straps! The Miss Sixty Strappy Sandals ($200.65) will come the closest to the shoes worn in the original outfit. These leather shoes have a 4″ heel for that great added extra height.
