A ribbed sweater gives any outfit a cute and preppy look. We were lucky to find a short sleeved one with a design that is eerily similar to the Oscar De La Renta design. But the Lidi Dandy Tunic Sweater ($89) comes in a light weight silk/cotton knit, which is sure to keep you cool in the warm weather.
Put on the sweater with a green, a-line skirt. The floral skirt in the original look is pretty, but we’re going for the solid colored Tall Pleated Full Skirt by Banana Republic ($69). The color is absolutely lovely, and the pleats in it make it hang perfectly from your shape.
The biggest accent for this outfit is the necklace. Multiple strands of turquoise will do the trick, like the 3-Strand Green Aventurine Chip Necklace care of GemstonesAndPearls on Etsy.com ($14.95). With three twisted 18″ strands of jewels, it’s hard not to miss this great piece!
Time to accessorize it! Large rounded white shades are hot, and it’s hard to resist a pair like the Fendi White Zucchino Detail Sunglasses ($150). And you have to have something to stash your stuff in, so pick up the Merona Tote Bag from Target ($29.99); it’s a tall white tote, just like the one the model is wearing on the runway. And with 15 x 5.5 x 13 dimensions it’s plenty roomy!
Complete this look with a pair of green slingback platform heels; the Green Platform Slingback Peep Toe Heel Pumps ($22.99) are a particularly good choice. These detailed heels mix quilted and regular leather and of course, those adorable little buckles right across the toe.
